Annual Report Launched And Volunteer Commitment Recognised At The Officers’ Association AGM

Yesterday (February 24th) saw an audience of trustees, vice-patrons and staff, along with guests from other charities and partner organisations, gather in South Kensington for the Annual General Meeting of The Officers’ Association.
Chaired by Senior President, Air Chief Marshal Sir Clive Loader, the meeting included reports on the organisation’s activities for the period 2014-15 from OA Chairman, Alex Spofforth, and Chief Executive, Lee Holloway, and also saw the launch of the 2014-15 Annual Report.

The meeting featured brief reports from Sophia Koniarska, Business Development Manager for the South West, on the recent successful recruitment partnership with Nationwide, and Ken Roberts, an Honorary Representative volunteer who heralded the positive impact of the recently established Independence Star™ in assessing and monitoring the needs of beneficiaries.

A special vote of thanks for the exceptional work of the Benevolence Department’s Honorary Representatives was given unanimous support.
