Join York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust for an afternoon of practical application and recruitment advice. This workshop will look at the Trust’s complete recruitment process and equip you with the tangible knowledge to excel throughout.
You will hear from a wide variety of employees including HR Advisors, the Joint Head of Strategy, and the Director of Workforce, receiving a broad overview of the NHS. Presentations will focus on NHS banding and your fit when joining the organisation, as well as the funding, standards, regulations and quality & safety which apply across the UK.
Speak with current employees to understand their roles and the diversity of non-clinical opportunities available; you will also be joined by ex-military now in Trust employment who will share their transition journeys and insight into the organisation.
This intensive, interactive workshop will leave you confident in your ability to write an effective and compelling personal statement for application to roles within the NHS. After submitting your tailored statement for review prior to the event, you will have the opportunity to have a 1-2-1 session with an HR lead, refining and improving your application.
If you are considering a career with the NHS, or have struggled to get through the initial recruitment stage before, then this workshop is not to be missed.
