OA to run Leeds Project Management Workshop based on success of York event

“I thought it was a really excellent event. Very well judged, interesting insight and great networking. It was worth my while attending”, Nick Channer, Chief of Staff, Army.

A recent OA led Operations Management Workshop in York explored the skills and experience required to transition from managing a project within the forces, to a career in Project Management within a civilian context. What are businesses looking for in their Project Managers? What qualifications do you need to be recognised as a Project Manager? How can you optimise your military skills for these roles?

These were just some of the issues explored at the OA York Operations Management Workshop – where the turnout of attendees and their positive feedback has led to the OA continuing to add to our Career-focused workshop series.

The OA is running another Project Management event with our upcoming workshop at Deloitte, Leeds on Tuesday 7th March. Book your place for the Project Management Workshop.

“A fantastic workshop on Project Management and the process of applying for positions. Highly recommended to anyone considering the sector”, Jacky Phillips-Harvey, Ops Manager, Army.
