27th September 2017: External Event – Bristol Distinguished Address Series Talk with Rob Law – Bristol

Rob Law MBE is the founder and CEO of ride-on suitcase Trunki, and as part of the Bristol Distinguished Address Series Rob will reflect on his inspirational journey building Trunki into a global brand. Rob is a passionate industry speaker with a fresh approach to business and he will be sharing lessons on building a brand, inspiring leadership and fighting fakes. His story is full of take away tips for everyone in business. Trunki have been trading for 11 years and currently employs 80 people and in 2012 Trunki were named SME of the Year at the National Business Awards.

Rob trained in Product Design and his early career saw him working in Taiwan, New York and London before launching the Trunki brand in 2006. He is a committed champion of British manufacturing and design rights and is also a patron for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust’s Sixty five roses club.


This series of free public lectures hosted by the University of the West of England provides a unique opportunity to hear from top level business leaders on the challenges and decisions they face at the highest level of strategic leadership.

These evening talks are free for all to attend and will provide an excellent opportunity for you to broaden your corporate network and enable you to develop your business knowledge.
