Bloomberg is excited to host Service leavers at their new Bloomberg London office for an Insight afternoon on Tuesday 5th June from 2pm.
They are committed to developing a more diverse workforce and recognise both the value that Service leavers bring and the challenges they can encounter in transitioning their careers into corporate roles.
Bloomberg is guided by four core values that are the foundation of their continued success: innovation, collaboration, customer service and doing the right thing. They harness the power of data and analytics to organise, understand and improve the world.
Many of the skill sets and characteristics held by ex-Military and Serving reservists are highly valued and sought after by their Global Data & Enterprise Data groups. Bloomberg runs on data and in the Global and Enterprise Data teams, they are responsible for acquiring it and providing it to our clients. They collect, analyse, process, publish and provide the data which is the backbone of Bloomberg. Following this event, participants may be invited to apply for a permanent role through a specific application process. A number of roles are available, all looking for project management, stakeholder management, technical and analytical skills.
As a participant, you will have the unique opportunity to learn more about Bloomberg through targeted speaker sessions, network with members of our Global Data and Enterprise Data businesses, as well as the Bloomberg Military Veterans Community. You will participate in CV and interview workshops and exploratory career conversations.
Attendees will be chosen based on the CV received. If you wish to attend this event, register your details and submit your CV and covering letter by Friday 27th April 2018. You will soon after receive a confirmation email informing you if you have secured a place with joining instructions for the event.
