About the Mock Interview Workshop

This interview workshop is specifically tailored to help veterans articulate the transferable skills gained from their time in the military in a relevant way to financial services interviewers. The afternoon will incorporate:

  • A session with interview tips and advice
  • A career panel with Armed Forces veterans currently employed at Moody’s providing insight on their transitions to the civilian workforce
  • Three practice interviews per attendee with senior Moody’s hiring managers from a range of business areas and backgrounds

Session Objectives

Prepare you for interviews at finance companies including Moody’s through live experience
Understand the skillsets employers seek to gain and how articulate your experience successfully
Enhance your interview skills through mock interviews
Allow you to socialise with Moody’s employees, including veterans and to understand what kind of impact you could have in a Moody’s career

To prepare for the session, please come prepared with examples of where you have demonstrated the following competencies in your career to date:

  • Teamwork
  • Communication Skills
  • Adaptability

These competencies are critical to an individual’s success in Moody’s and in their experience are transferable between the military and civilian working environments.
