The skills and experience required to manage a project are common within the Forces and many individuals look to transition into a new career within Project Management when they leave.
This workshop will look into:
- What project management look like in a civilian context
- What businesses looking for in their Project Managers
- What qualifications you need to be recognised as a Project Manager
- How you can optimise your applications for these roles
The day will start with an overview of project management within a business setting, including a review of qualifications followed by a series of presentations delivered by those already working in Project Management who will share their experience and highlight key factors to consider when entering a particular sector; The day will be finished by a Q&A led by HR teams within the PM sector who will be able to provide insight on the application process.
