St George’s are holding a half-day seminar for Service leavers, veterans, serving personnel and partners considering their next move. Come along to discover more about the opportunities and working life in one of London’s biggest and busiest acute hospitals, St George’s in Tooting, home of ’24 Hours in A&E’.
Previous events have seen officers successfully recruited, and St George’s recognise your transferable skills, knowledge and experience which are highly valued and highly relevant across the fast-moving, large-scale, operational environments of NHS Trusts.
One the day you will find out why the culture, pace, variety and frequent new challenges may suit you, and gain an insight into various roles and tips on making the move, including:
- Project management in the NHS – introductory CPD session on the principles and typical work programmes,
- Making the step – former Service personnel who work at St George’s share their experiences,
- Securing a new role – advice and ideas on getting into the NHS, types of job available, tips on applying, opportunities at St George’s now,
