30th April 2019: OA Webinar – How Your Skills Can be Transferable to Any Industry – From the Bank of England to Uber

In this webinar, we will be joined by James Heaton-Smith, Head of Compliance for UKI at Uber.

James served in the Army for 25 years in a range of diverse appointments, including the ARRC, Defence Food Services IPT, Defence Academy, MOD Food Supply Contract, 101 Log Bde and Army HQ. His last role in the Army was as Head of Global Compliance for all logistic and technical functions. He served the majority of his Regimental duty in Germany, and Commanded a Transport Squadron in Iraq and was the COS of the Close Support Logistic Regiment in Afghanistan.

He left the Army as a Lt Col and went to work initially for JP Morgan before joining the Bank of England as a Programme Manager. He is currently Head of Compliance for UKI at Uber.
