The OA is delighted to welcome Rory Underwood to meet fellow officers and their spouses as he shares with us the secrets of his success, on and off the pitch.
This evening’s event, run by the Officers’ Association (OA), will see Rory offer practical advice on how to fulfil potential and achieve professional goals. Service leavers will hear how Rory built a successful post military career by recognising the commercial value of the skills he gained whilst serving.
After his talk, there will be a Q&A session and an opportunity to network with local employers.
Since 1999, Rory has used his experiences from international sport, military and business to help individuals, teams and organisations increase their performance.
Rory said: “I have worked in the sports, military, charity and business sectors and have seen at first-hand a common approach to success. It requires teamwork, discipline, insight and leadership. I’m looking forward to discussing how veterans can take a strategic approach to their professional development.”
The event is organised by the OA, the veterans’ charity that supports serving and former officers to build sustainable and successful careers after leaving the Armed Forces. Local and regional employers, business professionals, plus serving and former officers, are welcome to attend.
