NIDirect is part of the Government’s support network and includes advice on learning new skills (such as computers) to ready you for work. Learn Direct, AGE UK, and the UK Government provide similar services, in that they provide information on training options.

If you have served, then RBLI Lifeworks from Royal British Legion Industries could be for you. This is a new initiative to help reduce the levels of unemployment in ex-service personnel, by working in Partnership with local authorities running courses which aim to help former service personnel get into employment, training or higher education.
