The OA has partnered with X-Forces Enterprise (XFE) to present a one-day virtual self-employment workshop to help kick-start your business ideas and discover if working for yourself could be your next career step.
Get an insight into the commercial life-skills and know-how needed to launch a new business or sustain a freelance career. Run by XFE, specialists in providing business start-up support to former military personnel and their families, this virtual workshop will give you the key essentials needed to make this move.
Why attend?
Workshop attendees are eligible for 12 months of mentoring support from XFE, regardless of their chosen path, and will be invited to attend Military In Business® networking events in their region for additional peer-to-peer support in the XFE community.
Partners and spouses are encouraged to attend.

Attendees should sign up to the XFE HUB in advance of the course and complete the short Self Employment Questionnaire. Taking time to complete this questionnaire will enable you to understand the potential of your business idea and provide us with an insight into your current business situation, and what kind of knowledge you’re looking to develop. There is a vast amount of further support you can access via the HUB including research articles and free mentoring with business captains.
