At The Front Line: A Personal Perspective
Robert Harvey, an internationally renowned lecturer and orthopaedic surgeon, joins The Leaders Club to discuss his experiences in Wuhan and his predictions surrounding COVID-19.
Robert has travelled the world disseminating his knowledge of orthopaedic surgery; visiting India, Taiwan and China's Wuhan region from 2018-19.
In this session with The Leaders Club, Robert will discuss his experiences in Wuhan and how the situation there pointed to a potential healthcare crisis on the horizon. He will also explore how COVID-19 has affected clinical practice and the strategies developed to cope.
About Robert Harvey
Based primarily at Arrowe Park Hospital since 1995, Robert has been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in the Wirral peninsula for 20 years.
Robert also held the post of Clinical Director of Trauma and Orthopaedics at Wirral University Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust from 2009 until 2012.
This virtual event is free of charge and places are limited. Zoom login details will be sent to registrants a few days before the event.
