Officers who have walked in your shoes

Rory Browne

Rory joined Genpact as the Head of Innovation Transformation within their recruitment function, based in London, in March 2020. Before joining Genpact, he held various global roles at JP Morgan Chase, Benteler Automotive and Bombardier Transportation (Alstom) in finance, supply chain, Lean Six Sigma, and integrated business planning.

Rory graduated from Trinity College and Oxford University (MSt) before commissioning into the Queen’s Royal Hussars. While serving, he commanded a Challenger II Tank Troop and deployed to Afghanistan in 2011 as an Infanteer Forward Air Controller.  He loves working at Genpact because it offers a fantastic work environment for veterans.

“Genpact is a great company to work for if you are comfortable with a fast-paced environment, you like autonomy (mission command), and you want to learn. Furthermore, the variety of available roles offers so much scope for choice and movement.”

Rory contacted Genpact via LinkedIn but as Genpact is now partnering with the OA, all of their live job vacancies are posted directly to the OA JOBS BOARD –  making it easier for veterans to explore opportunities at Genpact.

Nanda DasNanda Das

Nanda joined Genpact in 2019 as a Director at Growth Operations and is based out of Delhi, India. He is an alumnus of the National Defense Academy, Defense Service Staff College, Wellington, and the Indian School of Business (ISB). He is a triple Masters’ degree holder and has secured his third master’s degree in business administration as a Dean’s Lister at ISB.

Nanda joined Genpact after 22 years of illustrious service in the Indian Navy, which included tenures as an Executive Officer of an Akula class SSN and Captain of a Kilo Class Submarine. He has been awarded six meritorious service medals, a Chief of the Naval Staff commendation, and felicitation by the Prime Minister of India. An ardent promoter of the ‘military to corporate program’ both at the business school and at the Indian Navy, Nanda has mentored veterans in their transition into corporates. He lives his purpose as an avid motivator, storyteller, and blogger with a followership of about 20,000 professionals on LinkedIn.

In the last 27 months at Genpact, his portfolio has steadily grown, and currently, he leads a team of 20 managers responsible for project managing commercial deal pursuits, analyst survey responses, commercial contracts, and governance. Nanda loves Genpact since the values at Genpact – being curious, courageous and incisive whilst being ruthlessly integral – matches seamlessly with the values of the Indian Navy. Also, the entrepreneurial spirit at Genpact gives him the freedom and flexibility to run his tower as an agile start-up.

Craig HenzelCraig Henzel

Craig is a Senior Partner on the CFO Consulting team based in the United States outside Philadelphia. He joined Genpact in 2016, and beforehand held executive level finance positions at AstraZeneca, Merck, Johnson & Johnson and General Electric, where he led global finance and transformation teams and designed and executed global strategy.

Craig earned an MBA from Boston University, a Masters from National Defense University and a Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy (USCGA). Since starting at Genpact, Craig has spent his time leading large teams at customer sites and enjoys not only over-delivering against customer requirements but developing high performing teams in the process.

He credits any success at Genpact with the small unit leadership honed on the front lines of the drug war, boarding and seizing ships in the Caribbean during the 1990’s. Craig really enjoys the entrepreneurial spirit that abounds at Genpact and has a real passion for wanting to see veterans succeed within the company.

“There is so much that veterans bring to an organization…leadership, execution, loyalty, and an ability to work with all people regardless of background. It has to be leveraged!” Craig began his 25+ year career as a U.S. Coast Guard officer, where he served on multiple ships, at the Pentagon following the September 11th terrorist attacks and offshore leading the clean-up effort in the Gulf of Mexico following the Deepwater Horizon oil spill disaster. He retired in 2016 as a Captain (O-6).
