A memorable farewell reception at the In & Out Club marked the Officers’ Association’s enduring legacy of service, bringing together key figures, staff, and supporters to reflect on over a century of support to officers and their families.

Following the upcoming closure of the Officers’ Association Benevolent Fund, the RAF Benevolent Fund will take on the support of all RAF-related beneficiaries, marking a new chapter in veteran welfare provision.

We hear from Kirsty Turnbull, Communications Manager at Lady Grover and the Officers’ Association, about her attendance, alongside her husband, Don, at the commemorative events for the anniversary of the Long March and their personal connection to this historic event.

Following over 100 years of service, the Officers’ Association Benevolent Fund is re-directing its funds to the on-going support of its beneficiaries. It will mark its closing chapter in 2025.
